LOGOLOGY

As the popularity of log homes continues to grow so does the number of companies offering log home products and packages.  It is no surprise then that each log home provider competes aggressively to carve out their relatively small niche,  as log homes represent approximately 4% of the national home building industry.  Too often log home buyers will purchase based on a gifted salesperson, a gimmick, a home plan, a low price, and/or some other emotional appeal, instead of basing their decision on what makes a log home "a log home. "  In other words remember throughout your log home research that  "IT'S ALL ABOUT THE LOGS."

Commonly we are asked questions about the subject matter below.   We encourage potential log home customers to review these articles carefully as the understanding of natural wood characteristics is so vital to the understanding of the log home itself.   Ultimately our objective here is to inform our customers so their expectations will be realistic, and thus rewarding, for decades to come.
